I’m Arvind Toorpu — an Oracle Certified Professional and Cloud Ops Database Manager at a financial services firm, with over fourteen years architecting, implementing and administering database estates.
My work spans Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL across production and non-production environments, on Red Hat Linux, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX and Windows Server. I’ve led the migration of hundreds of databases to AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and my roles have run from hands-on administration through to leading cloud operations teams.
